This is a poem Christina gave me. I love this girl.
When I first saw you,
I was afraid to talk to you
When I first talked to you,
I was afraid to like you
When I first liked you,
I was afraid to love you
Now that I love you,
I'm afaid to lose you.

Lost

I'm headed over to Mariano's house tonight to start watching the first season of ABC's Lost. You know? That deserted island show?

After watching season 2 of the new Battlestar Galactica and the entire Firefly series plus the movie Serenity, Nerdapalooza is continuuing with Lost until Battlestar Galactica resumes in October. Until then, we have X-Men III, Superman Returns and Spiderman III to keep us busy. Along with the release of the original Star Wars trilogy on DVD in September.

The fun starts at 8 tonight and all the nerds are welcome! :)

I wonder if Christina is into sci-fi...

Christina

This is Christina. She is 21 years old and as of last night is my new girlfriend. She is a youth counselor. She is petite at 5'3" and 98lbs and has the sexiest voice I've ever heard - especially when she's singing.

She enjoys country music and horses. She prefers to swim alone in a one-piece swimsuit. She is something of a model and wants me to be her exclusive photographer; as well as the only man in her life. She loves me greatly and wishes to marry me. Christina is my newest - and hopefully my last - girlfriend.

Never thought I'd hear...

Last night, Nerdapolooza got together for Firefly night at Sonny's house. It is a group of us from work plus some other family, friends and significant others, that get together almost every weekend to watch the new Battlestar Galactica, Firefly or some other nerdy show.

Anyway, we were in-between episodes of Firefly when Mariano said to the group, "I have a Flintstones bandaid on my nipple." I never thought I'd hear anyone tell me that. At least, not on a Saturday evening while in-between episodes of Firefly. Apparently, he slipped and fell against something at home and his shirt chaffed him. So, he put a Flintstones bandaid on the chaffed area. The chaffed area being his nipple; which he then showed us.

I just never thought I'd hear it...
